Pheromones are endogenous scents that stimulate animals and result in certain behaviors. Dog Appeasing Pheromones are synthetic versions of the chemicals produced by canine mothers that are whelping litters. These chemicals that are produced by the mother influence the puppies by calming them down and providing them with feelings of assured safety.
As part of the greater crate acclimation process, this non-narcotic stress reliever is perfect for anxious dogs prone to separation anxiety. Studies (such as this one from 2008 and this one from 2010) suggest that D.A.P. administrations significantly reduce excessive licking, barking, and other stress related symptoms in dogs versus control groups.
It is advisable to place an article of worn clothing into a dog’s crate in order to make them feel comfortable. Dog appeasing pheromone as a spray application should be sprayed on the article of worn clothing and the inside of the entire crate.
