Byford Quarantine Facility Closed Until May 31st
Any pet owners wishing to travel to Perth, Australia with their pets on or before March 18th may need to rethink their plans. Due to the risk of bush fires, the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Forestry (DAFF) will be redirecting any pets that arrive in Perth to the quarantine facility in Sydney. Pet owners who have already made plans must await the end of their pet's quarantine in Sydney prior to DAFF relocating the pet back to Perth following quarantine. Pet owners can also make new arrangements with their pet relocation specialists to have their pet or pets fly directly to Sydney.
This closing is effective until May 31st. Make sure to visit DAFF for more information.
